Prime Minister of the State, which was conducting an inspection tour of various social programs in rural areas, traveling in a private helicopter and was accompanied by a bodyguard, two officials and a photographer.
The forest is home Nallamalla Maoist rebels who are fighting for over three decades in several Indian states including Andhra Pradesh, demanding land and jobs for agricultural workers and the poor.
