The Twitter community has made this young icon in Iran, including the fatal shooting Saturday was videotaped during the demonstrations. The Video was filmed and broadcast on the internet. Millions of Internet users have watched his agony and her face has already become the emblem of a heroic resistance.
The fatal shooting of Neda, Saturday in Tehran, and the picture (or video?) that circulates on the net has made this young woman the icon of the demonstrators who play their lives for several days protesting against the election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad to the Presidency of Iran June 12
In Farsi, Neda means “voice” is already as well as thousands of Internet users have called this young woman of twenty years or less (we are talking about 16 years), which is one of dozens of victims the suppression of anti-Ahmadinejad, in Tehran Saturday. She fell under a bullet apparently fired from a distance.
Her death was filmed by a protester and broadcast on the Internet. It is a terrible video to watch. I was wondering how all of the sudden there was blood all over her face and a guy commented that
